K. G. WINTERS (Dreamweaver594) is a writer, playwright, artist, who spends his days working in Virginia and his evenings
writing. As a writer, I try to make my characters believable and the world they inhabit relatable (well I suppose a world that contains vampires is a bit of a stretch but that story was just a lot of fun to write).
Novels and Novellas by WINTERS now available at www.smashwords.com:
Stray Cats
Sleeping on the Terrace
From Darker Places Than I Want To Feel
The First Bite
Vampire in Love
Kismet
The Christmas Gift
The Gordian Knot and other short stories
A PERSONAL NOTE FROM GUY WINTERS:
In the past, I found myself exploring the often misunderstood world of the inter-sexed person. If you are unfamiliar with the term "intersex" Google it, you'll find it very complex. The Wikipedia entry is very thorough although my work should never be considered clinical. Other works that I plan on adding to my catalog will begin to explore other issues but right now the plight of the intersexed person stuck in a world of narrow-minded bigotry is something of interest to me. I hope you find them interesting as well. If you think about it, there's not much difference between an inter-sexed person and a person of color, they bth face bigotry daily.

WHAT READERS HAVE SAID ABOUT MY BOOKS ON OTHER SITES:
About Stray Cats:
"One of the best romance writers on the planet, and he just so happens to write about transgendered and intersexed individuals. Having been a stray cat for most of my adult life I can relate easily to the interactions of the major characters... its like going home."
“This story had me halfway down the page. Great character development, solid plot and storyline. Absolutely loved it! Very well done!”
“Three people finding love, acceptance and refuge from a judgmental world around them. I'm touched, and inspired.”
“It takes talent to interweave so many characters with their own stories in a story that is so believable.”
About Dark Places:
“I just love the characters, their growth and the back stories that brought them to where they are, and the hints of where they might be going. All this woven so expertly and wonderfully that it makes for such an enjoyable read, one that I love immersing myself in.”
“Deep, complex characters. A constant sense of intrigue…Very well done.”
About Sleeping on the Terrace:
“An understanding and caring romance that takes the reader on a journey of trust, trust that lets a relationship grow and become something more than just the sum of the story's "parts".”
“Love this story...the pace...the sensuality...the difference...the passion!”
About The First Bite:
“It made me open my eyes to a different world in which we can all accept others no matter what and can find love in the strangest of places.”
“I'm enjoying this story to the detriment of other things I ought to be doing ... but it's a 'can't put this book down' type of story, so thanks.”
